Dr. Marianne Frieri MD/PHD Invited to Lecture at the Southeastern Allergy, Asthma and Immunology Society's Annual Meeting

Nassau UniversityMedical Center’s Marianne Frieri, MD/PHD has been invited to lecture at the Southeastern Allergy, Asthma and Immunology Society’s annual meeting this month in Alabama.
 
The meeting will take place on September 16th and 17th at the Point Clear Resort in Alabama. Dr. Frieri is chief of the allergy and immunology department of medicine at NUMC. She will present two lectures on “Update on Asthma Pathogenesis from Birth to Adulthood” and “Vitamin D and Allergic Disease.”

The states included in the Southeastern Allergy, Asthma and Immunology Society are Maryland, Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Florida, Tennessee, Kentucky, Alabama, Mississippi, West Virginia and Louisiana. The District of Columbia and Puerto Rico are also included in the southeastern area.

Dr. Frieri said “I am both humbled and honored to be selected to present by lectures at such a prestigious conference. I thank the SEAAIS for allowing me this wonderful opportunity and I look forward to sharing my acquired knowledge on asthma pathogenesis and vitamin D in allergic and autoimmune disease.”
